(YIN) Inviting stillness through long held meditative poses creating stimulation and strength while synchronising the breath.

My Yoga Story

Liat was introduced to classic ballet at the age of three. Since then, her passion for movement and the arts has led her towards a global path of meditative transformation and physical reformation. She first began exploring her practice in New York under the guidance of Elena Brower and then made her way across the water a couple years later to the Netherlands, where she joined the Yin Yoga practice under the instruction of Anat Gieger and Marcel van de Vis heil. Today, Liat is a dedicated Yin Yoga practitioner. Through studying anatomy, chakra meditation, vinyasa and yin yoga she spreads her daily practice of yin yoga and knowledge to her community.

WHAT IS YIN YOGA?

YIN YOGA

improves flexibility and mobility in the joints, calms the mind and balances breath, releases stress, works the deepest tissues, bones, and ligaments.

The essence of yin is commiting to silencing the mind and softening the heart within the stillness through long held postures from 3-5 minutes. While relaxing the muscles and surrendering this then strengthens and encourages the reviving of the connective tissues also known as fascia, the bones, flexibility in the joints, blood flow and regenerates the meridians throughout the internal body vibrating outwards.

Benefits of Yin

Enhances joint mobility, encourages relaxation, releases the fascia, reduces stress and anxiety, calms and balances the mind and body, balances the organs.
